Wildlife Wednesday: Western Chorus Frog

By: Brittany Smith, Naturalist/Program Coordinator
Among one of the smallest frogs in Minnesota, the Western Chorus frog is one of the first sounds of spring. They may be little, but their voices are mighty. Many mornings from early spring through the summer their sound is all one will hear. Next time you drive through River Bend Nature Center, turn down the music, roll down the window, and listen to the great sounds of spring.
Share what other sounds of spring you enjoy!
