Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
Thanks to dedicated volunteers, River Bend is known for some of the best groomed cross country ski trails in Southern Minnesota
- Trails are packed for skiing and snowshoeing or hiking
- About 7 miles of trails
- Purchase a MN Ski Pass through the MN DNR
- Snowshoe rentals available at River Bend, no skis at this time

Geocaching
The grounds of River Bend can hold many secrets...
- Download the geocache app and create an account
- Select a geocache to scout out
- Navigate and search for the geocache
- Congratulations, you found it! Sign the log book
- Put it back where you found it
Geocaching Rules
- Minimize impact by staying on trail until you are within 60 feet of location. Geocaches are hidden within a few feet of a trail.
- If you take something from the geochache, leave something of the same value in its place.
- Replace geocache as found.
- Alert staff if geocache cannot be found or is empty.
- Individuals must ask for permission from River Bend staff before placing any new geocaches.

Furry Friends
Bring your loved furry friend out for a stroll...River Bend is a dog friendly place
- Please keep your dog on a leash to prevent chasing of wildlife
- Please pick up after your dog and through waste in the trash bins
