Prairie Wall Mural

This February River Bend Nature Center will be taking on an ambitious project to paint its north wall as a giant prairie mural. We are looking for volunteers to help paint this mural and help from the community by donating old interior latex wall paint and acrylic paints in greens, browns, blacks, whites, yellows, and blues. If you are interested in volunteering to paint please email our Environmental Educator in charge of this project, Elsa Litecky, at for more details about the project. We appreciate your support and understanding as the mural comes together over the next month and we hope to see you stop by sometime to see it all come together. We will also be posting updates on our Facebook page so check back for sneak peeks as the wall comes together!
